Book an Introduction to Accessibility Workshop for your team either online or in-person

Step 2:  Connect with the Disabled Community

Create your profile on the PIWS Disabled Community platform and share information about your accessibility, facilities, and customer service. Invite feedback from disabled people and their families.

Step 3: Register as an Access Card Provider

Around 3,000 disabled people register for the Access Card every day.

Step 4: Download Assets and Promote

Download digital materials and promote that you are actively engaging with the disabled community

Step 5: How Accessible is your home page?

Test your website's accessibility and discover improvements that can make your online presence more inclusive.

Step 6: Develop an Accessibility Champion

Nominate a member of staff to become your Accessibility Champion. Through a three-level accredited programme, they will learn how to implement accessibility improvements, engage with the community, measure impact, and drive lasting change across your organisation. Each level is completed over 12 months, allowing time to put learning into practice and demonstrate real progress.

Step 7: Request an Access Ambassador Visit

When your project is complete, request an Access Ambassador to visit your venue for feedback on it's accessibility
